It integrates a PLC touchscreen control system, precision air pressure sensor modules, a pneumatic downward-pressing sealing mechanism, and a conveyor line, enabling the automated completion of the entire process—from workpiece loading and positioning, sealing, constant-pressure leak testing, to the sorting of good and reject sorting. It is widely used for detecting water and air leakage defects in products such as personal care bottles, food packaging, bathroom plastic components, and new energy enclosures. By employing the differential pressure method or direct pressure method, it performs rapid, non-destructive seal performance testing to effectively ensure product quality before shipment.
The system employs a pneumatic leak detection method: After the detection head is pressed firmly against the sealed workpiece, compressed air at a preset pressure is introduced into the sealed cavity. The system maintains a constant pressure for a set period, while high-precision sensors monitor changes in the cavity pressure in real time. If the product has micro-pores or cracks causing air leakage, the pressure inside the cavity will drop significantly. The equipment immediately classifies the product as defective and issues an audible and visual alert, while products are automatically released. This enables rapid, non-destructive leak detection without damaging the appearance of the workpiece.
